Clark University Students
Tell It Like It Is
As one student stated:
“Clark fits like a glove, and you’ll know if it’s for you relatively soon. I’ve loved meeting different people, hanging out until 6 a.m., water fights on Spree Day, checking out campus events and lectures, taking the walk of shame, trying out different campus groups, exploring the library, and oh yeah, the academics are good, too.”
To find out if you are a Clarkie at heart, read what students are saying about:
Academics:
“I loved the classes at Clark. They were challenging and interesting, and they really prepared me for graduate school. Graduate school was a breeze after attending Clark.”
“I came to Clark because I didn’t want to spend money at a large, perhaps more well-known university just to get taught by some TA. At Clark, you can say that you are actually being taught by the expert and not just sitting in a class of 300 people who are there because of the name attached to it.”
Guys and Girls:
“Most Clarkies are not hot by ordinary standards, so after you’ve been here for awhile, your standards for attractiveness adapt. One nice thing about this is that some people look for other redeeming qualities, of which there are many.”
“A lot of Clarkies end up finding their future spouses at Clark, but it all depends on what you’re looking for. If you do it all for the nookie, and you’re not satisfied with what’s on campus, it’s not far to visit the other colleges in the area.”
Overall Experience:
“Clark was actually one of my last choices when I went to visit, but I’m really glad I ended up here, because it’s never dull. Everyone has a story to tell at the end of the day about their classes, classmates, professors, or Worcester in general.”
“I am glad I ended up at Clark. I was tempted to transfer at one point, but I stuck it out and ended up falling in love with the school and the people.”
