More often than not, the teachers are weird. If not weird, they’re definitely not normal. It’s the teachers like ours that make it easier to see where all those idiosyncratic stories come from.

San Francisco, CA

Most students will tell you that the best thing about USF is the city of San Francisco. Granted, the city provides an amazing backdrop, but the school itself is also very fascinating and, in some ways, reflective of the city. Like San Francisco, USF is quite old with a rich history and a positive outlook on the future. Buildings are being renovated in order to keep up with the times and the demands of the students. Here, you will find students with strong morals, dedicated to service and justice, and most importantly, a university that supports them. Also, like the city it resides in, USF is incredibly diverse and tolerant. Coming here, you will meet people from all over the world; all ethnicities, religions, and cultures. By exposing students to the culture of San Francisco, USF can mold any student into a conscious, cultured, and well-grounded individual.
USF gives its students the opportunity to enjoy both the intimacy of a small college experience and life in the big city. When the campus feels too consuming, or school work becomes too demanding, San Francisco provides an amazing release. Students here take advantage of the different cultures, views, restaurants, museums, and nightlife of the surrounding city. In the end, USF students find nothing better than this stunning combination of an amazing university and the city of San Francisco.

"I like USF, and I’m not planning on transferring. However, it is definitely a financial burden, especially because they raise the tuition almost every other year."

"I love this city. The school has been pretty great. Some of my professors are really wonderful and have helped me a lot. I’m planning on staying in San Francisco, and I’m glad I had time in college to get to know the city a little. I feel like I’m at home here now (after four years) and that I’ve gained some skills."

"I love the school because the people are great, but I think the requirements for graduation need to be revised, especially for transfer students. The requirements now make it harder to graduate on time."

"I’ve had a great time at USF. The school is good, the people are great, and the city is phenomenal. I’m glad I decided to go here as opposed to anywhere else, especially Milwaukee, because I was really close to going to Marquette."

"I could not have made a better choice for a university. My four years here are almost up, and I can definitely say it’s been a fun ride. Oh yeah, and the education is great, too!"
