Tell It Like It Is
I remember how difficult it was trying to decide in a span of two weeks where I wanted to spend my next four years. Nothing is particularly easy about that time in every high school student’s life when they must either throw caution to the wind and follow their dreams, settle for something else, or follow the dreams of their parents. (Jordan Pope-Roush, author)
Wouldn’t it be nice to talk to hundreds of students to find out the real inside scoop on all aspects of college, from academics and campus safety to nightlife and the drug scene? College Prowler can help you out!
Does the food suck?
“The cafeteria has a lot to offer, and the food’s pretty good for college, but after eating anything every day for a year, you get really sick of it. We have Chick-fil-A and Burger King at Cox Hall, but it gets old.”
Where should I live?
“Longstreet rules, and Turman’s awful, because it is a 20-minute walk to class. I hear Alabama’s the best, but I’ve never been. McTyeire has big rooms and Dobbs has tiny ones.”
Where should I party?
“There’s a number of off-campus parties and club functions, and many students rely on promoters and word of mouth for their party-places, whether at a house or a club. Intra-Greek relationships and social politics dictate the scene, so I prefer going to random places in Atlanta.”
