And the key to any college is to discover the secrets it’s hiding. That’s where College Prowler comes in.
Did you know?
- It’s a Denison tradition that students do not step on the Denison seal in front of Swasey Chapel. According to superstition, a student who steps on the seal will not graduate on time! So, you better watch where you are stepping.
- With the exception of Subway and Wendy’s, there are no fast food restaurants in Granville. A 2004 city ordinance prohibits any new fast food restaurants from being built in Granville commercial developments. So, you better love cafeteria food or learn to cook.
- Students are required to live on campus all four years, unless they are exempt because they are married students living with spouses, single parents, students that are 25 years of age or older, or students living with their parents within 25 miles of campus. So, you better learn to love your roomies.
- If you look in the display window of any trendy store, you will see clothes that the majority of students at Denison wear. So, you better stock up at J.Crew.
On campus, you might hear words like Doane, Shep, and Snatch. What could all of these mean?
