At Allegheny College, academics are first priority. Classes can become quite competitive, but that doesn’t keep students from working together. Schoolwork often becomes a kind of social event, where people get together to study, work on homework, or proofread papers.

“Meadville is a hole. There isn’t much around, and anything that is closes at 4 p.m.”
“There’s an Allegheny ‘Rule of Thirds’ about guys: 1/3 are jerks, 1/3 are taken, and 1/3 are gay.”

“Security on campus seems great until you’re the one being asked if you’re drunk.”
