I had a wide range of good and bad teachers. Some of the teachers would help me excessively, because that is how much they care about their students. I had a calculus teacher that I ate dinner with, and I talk over Instant Messenger with him almost every day. Of course, I had some teachers who did not care about helping their students, and most students would just not care about them either.

Overall Experience

Villanova - Villanova, PA

Villanova is a school that grows on you—for some it takes only until the end of orientation, for others it takes two semesters or more. Whatever the case, students get caught up in what it means to be a Villanovan and to be from the ‘Nova nation. Villanova provides students with an excellent education, well enough to confidently put alumni head-to-head with Ivy grads and be successful. Outside its rich academic tradition, the students at Villanova come to know and appreciate their fellow students, professors, and surrounding community.

Going to the University gives students a unique perspective on college life. Even with a lack of diversity and a party scene that doesn’t start to pick up until you are a junior, Villanova is a fun place to be. Villanova will not give you the typical college life of a wild youth, but regardless, it is a school that is both full of good times and exciting. While that might not be what someone is looking for, the students that do attend end up loving the school for everything it offers, from its basketball games and rich traditions, to its Catholic heritage and the full load of academics. It’s a school that you can grow into comfortably, and looking back in later years, are glad to call your home away from home.
